Alena German-Shakhly

Born in 2002, St.Petersburg, Russia, surrounded by a variety of cultures and aesthetics. Currently living in United Kingdom, whilst studying BA Fine Art in Kingston School of Art. Being brought up in two different countries affected how I perceive the Art world, as I acquired both, Eastern and Western types of education.

I participated in a group exhibition, located in Platform Gallery Grid Show in Kingston School of Art, Knights Park Campus. My work was showcased along with the other works of the First Year Fine Art students.

I was a part of a group exhibition project under the name “Polarity” with five other people from Level 4 BA Fine Art Course. Our works were viewed using a QR Code.

My work was also featured in Publication Exhibition in December 2021 at the Stanley Picker Gallery, as well as at Not My Beautiful House in May 2022 (Kingston-Upon-Thames)

​

I am in the process of finishing a BA Fine Art (Hons), qualification pending.
